Who put my life in a blender and hit "frappe"?

Well, so much for this being a carefree blog.

I just finished up perhaps the most stressful week of my life to date...

- I developed a nagging cough and cold
- It was the last week of my cycle and I had terrible cramps
- Had a hectic commissary trip with Grandpa and Joanne
- Took care of neighbor's animals for a couple days
- Took a two-night shift to give Joanne a little break
- Happy started chewing his feet and went to the vet
- I turned 34
- Ian was diagnosed with lymphoma.

Oh, and I kind of forgot my daily regimen of 600mg of ibuprophen three times a day these last few days and it seems my nerve pain is just as bad as it was when I saw the physical therapist. So much for progress!

So yeah, it's been a lot to take in. We're doing well so far; lots of tests on the horizon. A full-torso CTscan on Monday, a consultation with the biopsy doctor in SF on Friday, then the PETscan on June 14th. I wish we didn't have to wait so long for that, but they said that's the earliest spot available. Too many questions at this point and not enough answers. There's plenty to be optimistic about though!
